Ms Bärbel Eckert is responsible.

The collection and processing of personal data takes place in compliance with the valid data protection regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). I collect and process your personal data in order to offer you the above website. This statement describes how and to what end your data are collected and used, and what options you have in connection with your personal data. By using this website, you agree to the collection, use and transfer of your data in accordance with this data protection statement.

The definitions of the used terms (e.g. “personal data” or “processing”) can be found in Article 4 GDPR.

The use of my website is usually possible without providing personal data. If a data subject wishes to use special services of my company via my website, it may, however, be necessary to process personal data. Insofar as personal data (for example, name, address or email address) are collected on my website, this takes place on a voluntary basis at all times when possible.

I only process personal data of users of my website insofar as this is required to provide a functional website as well as its content and services. The processing of my users’ personal data is carried out regularly only after consent from the user. An exception applies in such cases in which a prior collection of consent is not possible due to real reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by legal regulations. Your personal data are treated by me confidentially under strict observance of the applicable data protection regulations. I have taken technical and organisational measures to ensure that the data protection regulations are observed both by me and external service providers. Your data are not disclosed to third parties without your express consent.

I would like to point out that data transmission on the internet (e.g. communication by email) may have security gaps. A comprehensive protection of the data from third party access is not possible.

2. Legal basis for processing personal data

Insofar as I obtain consent from the data subject for the processing of personal data, Article 6(1)(a) EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) serves as the legal basis.

When processing personal data required for the fulfilment of an agreement to which the data subject is a party, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR serves as the legal basis. This also applies to processing procedures that are required for conducting pre-contractual measures.

Insofar as the processing of personal data is required to fulfil a legal obligation, which applies to my company, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR serves as the legal basis.

In the event that the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person require the processing of personal data, Article 6(1)(d) GDPR serves as the legal basis.

If the processing is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of my company or a third party and if the interests, basic rights and basic freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the first-mentioned interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR serves as the legal basis for processing.

3. Access data

When visiting my website www.fair-connection.de, the browser on your end device automatically sends information to my website’s server. This information is saved temporarily in a so-called log file. The following information is thereby entered without your involvement and stored until automatic deletion:

  • IP address of the requesting computer,
  • Date and time of access,
  • Name and URL of the accessed file,
  • Website, from which the access is made (referrer URL),
  • Browser used and, where applicable, the operating system of your computer and name of your access provider.

The specified data are processed by us for the following purposes:

  • Guaranteeing a smooth connection establishment of the website,
  • Guaranteeing a comfortable use of our website,
  • Analysis of the system security and stability as well as for other administrative purposes.

The legal basis for the data processing is Article 6(1)(f) EU GDPR. My legitimate interest follows from the above purposes for data processing. In no event will I use the data collected for the purpose of making conclusions about you personally.

4. Routine data deletion and storage duration

The personal data of the data subject are deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Storage is also possible if this has been provided for by the European or national legislator in Union regulations, laws or other provisions which apply to the controller. The data will also be blocked or deleted if a storage period specified by the mentioned standards expires, unless there is a necessity for the further storage of the data to conclude an agreement or fulfil an agreement.

No access data are collected. The content management system used merely uses a so-called session cookie, in which no personal data are included. It is automatically deleted when leaving the website or closing the browser window (end of session) No permanent cookies or even tracking cookies are used. This website has no social media plug-ins. I do not use any analysis tools, online marketing services or internet advertising.

My website is stored or hosted by the web hoster “Lahno-Webhosting” (www.lahno-webhosting.de), whose data protection statement must be observed.
The trade fair finder, which is presented on my pages, is offered by the provider “m+a expodatabase”, whose data protection statement must also be observed if applicable. (www.expodatabase.de).

5. Use of script libraries (Google Webfonts)

To present my contents across browsers in a correct and graphically appealing way, I use the Google Webfonts library (https://www.google.com/webfonts/) on my website. Google Webfonts are transferred to your browser’s cache to avoid multiple loading. If your browser does not support Google Webfonts or prevents access, the content is displayed in a standard font.

The calling up of font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. In this process, it is theoretically possible, but currently also unclear, whether and for what purpose, if applicable, that operators of corresponding libraries collect data. The data protection statement of the library operator Google can be found here:
https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

The entry of data for the provision of the website and storage of the data in log files is mandatory for the operation of the website. As such, there is no possibility for the user to object.
